Aug 11, 2003 - Aero Club Milano is glad to announce dates and location of aerobatic contests organized in 2003. XXVIII Trofeo Roberto Crippa, Championship Final for 2003 season, will be held on Cameri AFB after Italian Air Force offered full support for this important event. Cooperation between Italian AF and Aero Club d'Italia (Italian National Aero Club) has been revamped by AeCI Commissioner, Dr. Giuseppe LEONI, and will certainly lead to bright results in Italian airsports, as well as rewarding Aero Club Milano commitment to aerobatic contests organization. Aero Club d'Italia is supporting in the meantime VIII Trofeo Reggiani, traditional 4'Freestyle event held at season's end. This year contest will be included as top event in a huge kermesse promoted by Varese Provincial Government to commemorate 100th anniversary of powered flight, an important recurrence for a district most Italy's aeronautical industry is active in. Thus, on Sep 20-21 Calcinate's runway, usually operated by gliders, will host aerobatic "circus" in one of most exciting aeronautical events of the year. For further information please click HERE.
