Piper PA34 is a light twin equipped fith full-IFR avionics, able to accommodate 6 persons.
Low wing, twin engined, is operated in 3 examples (Seneca I I-TITT, Seneca IV I-KISE, Seneca V I-ROVE). Seneca I, simpler than the latter, is ideal for first multi-engine rating and mounts two Lycoming IO-360, 4-cylinders, fuel-injected, air cooled engines producing 200HP each. Seneca IV/V, offerig higher performances, mounts two Continental IO-470 4-cylinders, fuel-injected, air cooled engines with turbocharger, giving 220HP each. More advenced avionics includes moving-map GPS and comfort is improved by an air conditioning pack.
Perfectly fit for long range tourism, full-IFR avionics with autopilot makes them the plane of choice for IR and ATPL training as well as multi-engine rating, offering around 4hrs flight at 145Kts (290 Km/h).
